Right to access information

The right to access information created, owned, disposed of or controlled by the Croatian Lions Clubs Association is regulated by the Act on the Right to Access Information (Official Gazette, No. 25/2013).

The Act also stipulates the principles of the right to access, exceptions to the right to access and the procedure for exercising and protecting the right to access information.

The right to information is exercised by submitting a request to the Croatian Lions Clubs Association. If the request is submitted in writing, it is necessary to fill out the Access to Information Request Form.

A request for exercising the right to access information can be submitted:

• in writing to the address: Croatian Lions Clubs Association, Miramarska 24 Zagreb

• by e-mail to the address: gdpr@lionsregattacroatia.hr

• by fax: 052 / 427 132

• in person on working days from 8:00 to 14:30.

When submitting a request, there is no need to pay an additional fee for the form.

A request for access to information must contain:

• the name and seat of the public authority to which the request is submitted

• data that are important for identifying the requested information

• the name, surname and address of the natural person submitting the request

• the company, or the name of the legal entity and its seat

The requester is not obliged to state the reasons for requesting access to the information, and in the request he may also propose a way in which the public authority will make the information available.
